I received an email this morning from 4shared regarding my account with them where I had my IncrediMail letters stored. Here is what it said:

Now as those of you who are members of any of my groups know, I do not create anything using ANY pay-to-use images any longer. It is just too much of a headache (for me) to have to deal with the stupidity that these agencies bring out in people. I have a life, and do not have time for the nit-picking that goes on with regards to properly sized images and proper placement of credits and licenses. The last stat that I did make using a licensed image was to actually boycott MPT/StickerChick and you can find it HERE.
Secondly, I put my license information and the proper web address on the letter, everything is as it should be…yet this person decides they want to fuck with me today about something I created over a year ago. Not only is my account set to private, but the only thing in my 4shared folder are my letters that I created in 2008 and the beginning of 2009. So I want to know just how in the hell she gained access to my account to even FIND something in the first place???
I sent this note back to the support team at 4shared:
Excuse me? Who in the hell would have said that? The only things in my 4shared folder, if you had even bothered to look, are the Incredimail letters that I CREATED USING COPYRIGHT COMPLIANT MATERIALS and offer on my web site!!! I also have a folder there that has my font collection but it is not public and is there for my own storage purposes!!!
So about an hour or so later I get this response:

Thanks Irina, appreciate you giving me the idiot’s email address who deemed it necessary to report me without even checking something out in the first place.
Apparently 4Shared is getting sick and tired of the MPT Self-Appointed Police Department as well. I have left a message for little miss “Hawaiian Cowgirl” via email as well as on her Fotki site, I posted a blog entry on my MySpace page (she has a MySpace page as well), and posted her email address on Facebook as well with a little comment.
What she did amounts to nothing more than sheer harassment. Well two can play that game sweetheart. I have had absolutely nothing to do with CILM, AMI, or MPT in the past year – and have no plans to do anything with their licensed artwork either. If they want to start a fight with me, so be it. I can and will take their ass to court for harassment.
This shit has got to stop people. If the owners of these licensing groups want to stop the illegal use of their artists’ work, then they need to stop the ability to download purchases online. The people who are illegally sharing the work of these artists are the same ones who go and buy the shit in the first place! They buy it and download it, then send it to a friend, who sends it to a group, where 10 or so more people forward it to their groups and the cycle begins.
I have absolutely nothing against the artists. Quite a few of them are very talented, some of them, however, you couldn’t pay me to use the stupid crap they have up for sale at these sites. To those few who take the sale of their art online seriously – I suggest you do what Ms. Woollcott did and sell your work yourself and get away from these vigilante agencies. People who are constantly harassed will not purchase your work. I’ve had over $3,000 that I could have spent on purchasing tubes from any one of you over the past year. I choose to spend it elsewhere however because of the harassment from these agencies. Your loss I’m afraid, not mine.
I sent MPT and this wench an email that read as follows:
I received a notice today that my PRIVATE 4Shared account under the name TBKDesigns was shut down because of some complaint that you made.
I don't know who you are or what your role at MPT is, but you need to get a life. The only files at that site are Incredimail letters that I have created and have stored there for my use. This is the letter you obviously thought was "illegal" and reported me for.
First of all, I put my license information on the image and the link to Mr. Garvey's web site. I have absolutely nothing against Mr. Garvey either except maybe his stupidity for doing business with a company such as yourself that allows random individuals to HARASS innocent people such as myself who don't even USE your crap.
Second, this letter was created OVER A YEAR AGO when I had a dispute with your organization for shutting down my Yahoo group because another member shared a letter that had an illegal image or some such nonsense. It was not created by anyone in my group, yet you bastards deemed it necessary to shut my group down for just SHARING a letter that somebody thought was pretty AND DESIGNED BY SOMEONE ELSE WHO WAS NOT A MEMBER OF OUR GROUP.
I do not have time for this stupid shit. Stay the fuck away from me and my web sites, you got me? I have not purchased or made ANYTHING that your organization sells IN OVER 18 MONTHS. I don't know why you feel the need to harass me and get my accounts and sites shut down, but trust me, keep it up and you will find your asses in court. I am sick of this shit. So keep up the harassment and see what happens.
I expect the authorities at 4shared to be notified and told to release my account - IMMEDIATELY. Get a fucking life and go pick on someone who is pirating your shit because it ain't me.
Sent almost two hours ago and no response, not that I actually expect an apology or anything. They know that THEY were wrong to harass me for something I created a year ago (and that they have already HARASSED ME ABOUT) but they won’t admit to that. They will just continue to harass other individuals – JUST LIKE YOU – until you put a stop to it. I say boycott all of them. Tell the artist you want to deal with them directly and not these stupid power-crazy companies. I have not purchased anything from their companies in over a year, and do not plan to either.
